Casual Residential Youth Worker

As a Residential Youth Worker, you'll focus on supporting youth in a stabilization home environment. You'll employ strength-based plans to build trust and resilience in young people facing complex barriers. This role also includes collaboration with mental health professionals and fostering connections to community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess youth needs with a dedicated care team
• Teach socially appropriate behavior through routines
• Monitor safety and wellbeing in residential settings
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention
• Maintain communication with families and community
Requirements:
• Diploma in human/social service field
• Two years of recent related experience
• Class 5 driver’s licence
• Successful completion of agency screening process
• Availability for on-call shifts as needed
