Location: West Kelowna
Become a Social Work Coordinator III at Sienna Senior Living, focusing on enriching resident and family experiences within our long-term care communities. Drive meaningful change through empathy and support.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the resident's move-in process and collaborating with the team to develop tailored care plans. With your background in social work, you'll ensure residents' psychosocial needs are met, ultimately enhancing their quality of life through individualized support and group services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the resident move-in and move-out process
• Provide social work counseling as needed
• Develop and implement support groups for residents
• Assist in advanced care planning discussions
• Ensure timely feedback response and improvement tracking
Requirements:
• Registered Social Worker with provincial authority
• At least three years’ experience in relevant fields
• Knowledge of Long Term Care Act a plus
• Strong planning, organizing, and communication skills
• Prior experience in customer service or sales is an asset
