This position focuses on empowering youth through individualized care plans in a short-term stabilization home. You'll work collaboratively with mental health professionals to ensure that each youth's physical and emotional needs are met. Your commitment to fostering a warm, home-like environment will be crucial in helping them build stability and connections to community support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in goal-setting and youth assessments
• Guide youths in socially appropriate interactions
• Monitor and ensure safety in the residential setting
• Facilitate emotional support and crisis management
• Assist with daily living tasks and medication management
Requirements:
• Diploma in a relevant human or social service field
• Minimum two years of related experience
• Class 5 driver’s licence required
• Recent successful completion of screening processes
• On-call availability as a casual worker
