As a Behaviour Interventionist, you'll engage directly with children and youth (ages 0-18), implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) under the supervision of experts. You will enhance development across vital skill areas, using tailored behavior management strategies to reduce challenges and promote success in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
• Provide in-home and community-based support to families
• Facilitate groups to improve social and communication skills
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for comprehensive interventions
• Maintain clinical records and documentation
Requirements:
• Diploma in Behaviour Intervention or relevant Social Services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with effective project management abilities
• Valid BC Driver's License and reliable vehicle
• Experience with children and families in diverse settings
