Join WCG as an Employment Consultant in Kelowna, BC, and help clients navigate their pathways to sustainable employment.
Your role is pivotal in fostering independence while meeting program goals.
The Employment Consultant will be responsible for managing a caseload of 80-100 clients, providing personalized assessments to craft individual action plans. Focused on client strengths and capabilities, you’ll motivate them through job training and empowerment strategies. Strong relationships with employers and community organizations are essential to enhance job placement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients to determine job search eligibility
• Document client progress and maintain accurate case records
• Ensure program goals and service targets are met
• Engage with community partners and employers
• Organize local job fairs and community events
Requirements:
• Certificate, degree, or diploma in a relevant field
• Prior experience in case management
• Expertise in job search techniques and labor market
• Strong digital skills, including social media
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethics
