Location: Penticton
Become a Supportive Living Worker in Penticton with One Sky Community Resources. Support individuals with disabilities through tailored assistance and promote their independence and quality of life.
This part-time role involves working closely with participants to meet their physical and emotional needs. You will engage in life skills training, manage case documentation, and collaborate closely with other professionals. Your focus will be on enhancing participant involvement in daily activities while ensuring a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in assessments and set personalized goals
• Deliver training for essential life skills
• Assist with daily living activities including feeding and hygiene
• Handle medications according to guidelines
• Collaborate with community service providers
Requirements:
• Must hold a certificate in human/social services
• Experience with aggressive behaviors is a plus
• First Aid, CPR, and a Criminal Record Check needed
• Driver’s license required for participant transport
• Completion of Food Safe Certification and Safety-Care Training
