As a Frontline Support Worker, you will assist program participants and their children seeking safety from domestic abuse. This vital role encompasses crisis intervention, safety planning, and liaising with various community resources. Your work will help foster a secure environment built on compassion and understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls for crisis support and information
• Assess risk and manage admissions for program participants
• Actively listen and create personalized action plans
• Monitor safety and facilitate conflict resolution
• Maintain case notes and provide reports to supervisors
Requirements:
• Diploma in a related field with one year of experience
• Knowledge of domestic abuse resources in the community
• Ability to provide non-judgmental, feminist-centered support
• Capacity to work independently and in a team
• Current Criminal Records Check is required
