Bilingual Employment Consultant

Support sustainable employment for WorkBC clients in Kelowna using case management, communication, and customer service skills. Travel between local centres as needed.

As an Employment Consultant, you will assess clients, build positive relationships, and support employment goals. You will manage approximately 80–100 cases in ICM while documenting progress and referrals. The role also involves employer partnerships, job placement, and community networking.

• Assess eligibility and ability to look for work
• Manage approximately 80–100 client cases in ICM
• Document eligibility, progress, referrals, and results
• Research employers and sector opportunities for clients
• Attend job fairs and host community events

• Relevant post-secondary certificate, degree, or diploma
• Experience coaching clients with complex barriers
• Employer, community agency, and stakeholder partnership experience
• Knowledge of local labour markets and community resources
• Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
