Join Affirm as a Software Engineer II, where you will engage in all aspects of backend system development and API design. Your responsibility includes collaborating with design and product teams, while ensuring effective integrations for key partners such as Stripe and Amazon. With 1.5+ years of experience, you will help guide project completion and maintain system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Decompose large projects into trackable tasks for effective delivery
• Partner with teams during the product development lifecycle
• Monitor system performance and create operational metrics
• Foster team cohesion through growth activities and interviews
Requirements:
• At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience
• Expertise in Python or Kotlin for backend systems
• Understanding of AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes architectures
• Proficient communication skills for team interactions
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
