Temporary Letter Carrier

Canada Post is seeking 25 temporary, on-call Letter Carriers to represent us in the community. As a delivery agent, you will sort mail, drive a postal vehicle, and deliver items to customers. This role involves physical activity and requires availability for various shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and prepare deliveries at the depot

• Load and operate a Canada Post postal vehicle

• Deliver mail and parcels on foot or by vehicle

• Unload incoming mail and packages at the depot

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license

• Safe driving record for at least 3 years

• Ability to lift items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)

• Availability for on-call shifts

• English and/or French literacy
