Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at IMP Aerospace

Location: Greenwood

Become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME M1/M2) with IMP Aerospace & Defence, contributing to Canada's Search and Rescue Helicopter program. Perform essential first and second line maintenance on Cormorant helicopters from the Greenwood, NS base.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, inspecting, and certifying aircraft systems while supporting vital SAR operations. Candidates should have a minimum of three years in aviation maintenance, along with mechanical and electrical system expertise. Join a committed team ensuring Canada’s Cormorant helicopters are prepared for critical missions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct first and second level maintenance on aircraft systems

• Perform pre/post flight inspections and marshalling tasks

• Operate auxiliary power units for ground runs

• Fly as needed for maintenance and ferry missions

• Provide training and supervision to junior staff

Requirements:

• Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or military equivalent

• 3+ years of aviation maintenance experience

• Knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance manuals

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License

• Meet Canadian Controlled Goods Program eligibility
