Position: Penticton Lane Closure Technician Role
Take on the Lane Closure Technician role at ATS Traffic in Penticton, BC. This full-time position offers dynamic traffic control for events, encompassing day and evening shifts.

You will manage traffic control by implementing Traffic Management Plans and setting up necessary signage and cones. Your efforts secure safe lane closures and ensure compliance with regulations at various locations. This position includes some travel within the city and requires flexibility for different working hours, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective lane closures

• Set up traffic signage and cones responsibly

• Conduct traffic control at events and construction zones

• Collaborate with colleagues on traffic safety initiatives

• Assist in managing lane detour plans

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean record

• Minimum 6 months of experience in traffic control

• TCP/LCT certification is required

• Must pass a Fit Test lifting 50 pounds

• Completion of drug and alcohol screening is necessary
