Helicopter Pilot Position with Wildcat Helicopters

Expand your aviation career as a Helicopter Pilot with Wildcat Helicopters Inc. in British Columbia. This seasonal role requires flying helicopters to assist with critical forestry services during peak wildfire season.

Wildcat Helicopters is looking for a full-time, experienced pilot available from April to October.

The right candidate will have completed a Mountain Course, accumulated a minimum of 2000 flying hours, and will be skilled in operating the Astar AS350 B3e and Bell 212/412. This role demands precision, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety through pre-flight inspections and weight distribution checks

• Communicate with air-traffic control and direct crew operations

• Fly helicopters according to flight schedules and protocols

• Execute emergency procedures and document flight performance

• Assist with administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited flying school

• Commercial Pilot Licence – rotors required

• Mountain Course completion

• Minimum 2000 flying hours logged

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
