Class 3A Driver at GFL

Become an essential part of the GFL Kelowna team as an Environmental Class 3A Driver. Drive throughout south-central British Columbia transporting hazardous waste safely and efficiently.

This position demands a valid Class 3 Drivers License with Air Brakes, and primarily operates Monday to Friday. You will engage in a variety of tasks including cargo handling, trip inspections, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. A strong emphasis on safety and clear communication with customers makes this role dynamic and critical to service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport hazardous liquid and solid wastes safely

• Perform vehicle inspections and report defects

• Manage cargo loading and unloading efficiently

• Maintain accurate logs and documentation

• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers

Requirements:

• Valid Class 3 Drivers License;
Class 1 an asset

• Manual transmission proficiency

• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs

• Excellent communication and paperwork skills

• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
