Package Handler at UPS - Local Sort

Join UPS as a Package Handler focusing on the Local Sort operation. Load, unload, and sort packages in a dynamic environment while utilizing your skills.

In this role, you'll manage responsibilities related to packaging and warehouse operations cessful candidates will execute package handling methods, including loading and unloading trucks. Flexibility is key as you may work up to five days a week, handling packages that can weigh up to 70 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and execute UPS package handling techniques

• Load and unload packages into trailers or vehicles

• Scan and sort packages for efficient distribution

• Stock packages appropriately according to protocols

• Operate heavy machinery as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.

• Familiarity with reading and memorizing postal codes

• Availability for flexible shift hours, including evenings

• Warehouse experience is preferred

• Commitment to a permanent position with UPS
