Lead sorting operations as a Sort Supervisor at Intelcom | Dragonfly, Canada’s last-mile logistics leader, focusing on safety and team performance in a fast-paced environment.
As a Sort Supervisor, you will manage sorting, scanning, and processing packages while ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols. Your key responsibilities include mentoring associates, handling inbound and outbound freight movement, and maintaining a hazard-free workplace. You will also perform safety audits, oversee daily operations, and track line haul operations for efficient logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise sorting, scanning, and processing of packages
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct safety audits
• Mentor and train warehouse associates and new hires
• Track line haul operations and communicate with carriers
• Complete administrative tasks and submit reports
Requirements:
• Proven experience in warehouse operations management
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Ability to perform safety checks and audits
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of inventory management practices
