This role is an on‑site, 12‑month, fixed‑term contract with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities- Focus on advanced problem resolution and infrastructure stability.
- Serve as the escalation point for all complex hardware, software, and network incidents, driving issues to complete resolution.
- Manage and maintain core server infrastructure (physical and virtualized environments, e.g., VMware), including patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
- Oversee and optimize our Active Directory structure, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT operational documentation and disaster recovery procedures for critical systems.
- Lead small to medium‑scale IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or rollout of new infrastructure technologies.
- Support Global projects to ensure smooth transitions.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for sophisticated network components (e.g., firewalls, managed switches, Wi‑Fi configurations).
- 2+ years in an advanced IT support, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Deep proficiency with Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022) and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting using Power Shell for routine administrative tasks and automation.
- Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLAN configuration, and VPN technologies.
- Exceptional diagnostic, analytical, and mentoring abilities to guide colleagues and interact confidently with senior management.
