You will be on a flexible working pattern throughout the week; your schedule will be available to you 3 weeks in advance.

• Friday: 07:00 - 15:00
• Saturday: 14:00 - 22:00
• Sunday: 07:00 - 15:00

As one of our Home Delivery Drivers, you’ll be one of the special ingredient that delivers everything our online customers shop at Sainsbury’s.

• Must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it.
• Will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if successful, there will be a driving assessment when you join us.
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps, on time and in excellent condition.
• Complete checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road.
• Serve customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays.
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
• When not out making deliveries, help across the store as needed.

• Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
• Proficient in driving a large vehicle in different locations.
• Enjoy working in a fast‑paced, physical and high‑energy environment.
• Ready to work flexibly and productively and receptive to training.
• Comfortable learning to use new digital tools and technology.
