3.5 Tonne Driver – Kelso, Scottish Borders People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver based in Kelso, Scottish Borders . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine potential for progression.

You must undergo a DS/DBS check for this role. Shifts
• Monday to Friday – start times between 05:00 and 06:00 Rates of Pay • £12.21 per hour Benefits

• Progression opportunity to Team Leader for candidates with 7.5T experience Day-to-Day Duties
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries (20–25 drops per day)
• Load and unload boxes and packages
• Load the vehicle for the following day's routes
• Ensure all loads are safe and secure
• Complete vehicle inspections and report faults
• Operate a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with staff at delivery locations
• Adhere to food hygiene regulations while transporting food
• Monitor and maintain correct refrigeration unit temperatures Essential Skills
• Previous multi-drop experience (preferred)
• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence held for at least two years (some points considered)
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and driving regulations
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify and report vehicle safety issues
• Good understanding of road networks and navigational tools
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and use own initiative
• Must undergo a DS/DBS check (good repute required)

• Experience driving commercial vehicles
