ALL ABOUT STYLE A team of consultants who meet guests where they are and deliver through strong operations, guest experience and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. A Style Consultant is passionate about operations and providing an incredible guest experience, bringing the energy of style to life with in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery.

Style Consultants welcome and assist guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring the floor is stocked, accurately priced, and signed with the right sizes, styles, and colors.

We believe in meaningful experiences that help you build and develop skills for a career. The Role Of a Style Consultant Can Provide You With The Skills And Experiences Of:

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store
• Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies, and basic visual merchandising
• Industry trends including style, seasonality, and brand differentiation
• Set, fill, and price the floor according to what is most important to the guest

As a Style Consultant, a typical day will likely include the following responsibilities:

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, inspirational & promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and to support guest needs
• Sort freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom as needed
• Set visual presentations and visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity
• Execute backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience
• Support price change processes and signing execution for clearance merchandising
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by processing merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service to the sales floor
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely; follow safety policies and training; report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while complying with applicable laws
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with needs
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit
• All other duties based on business needs

The Good News Is That We Have Training to Learn Everything You Need to Know to Be a Style Consultant. Some Basic Skills We Look For:

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
• A welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates
• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate scanners and other technology as directed
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Basic Expectations

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb ladders as required
• Safely scan, handle, and move merchandise; frequently lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds with or without assistance
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
• Remain mobile for the duration of a shift
