Overview

Kenai Grace Brethren Church (Kenai, AK) is seeking a Pastor to lead and shepherd the local body on behalf of our chief Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ.

• Lead the church’s services through expository preaching and biblical teaching.
• Further shepherding: hospital visits, intentional fellowship, discipling, and counseling.

• Be a baptized, born‑again disciple of Jesus Christ with a clear call and dedication to pastoral ministry and have the heart of a shepherd.
• Be biblically qualified as found in 1 Timothy 3:1‑7, Titus 1:6‑9, and 1 Peter 5:2‑3.
• Believe in the power of prayer, have a strong personal prayer and devotional life, and pursue righteousness and a godly life.
• Be willing and able to play a vital role in the work of an elder‑led congregation.
• Be theologically aligned with Kenai Grace and the Charis Commitment to Common Identity including Threefold Communion and Triune Immersion.
• Be part of the mission team and worship team meetings.
• Have a passionate desire to lead believers in their spiritual devotion to Christ and to see unbelievers come to Christ.
• Share in our desire to strive together through the Holy Spirit to know and display the love of God by devoting ourselves to His Word, fervent prayer, intentional fellowship, and spreading the gospel.

• Kenai Grace is in Kenai, Alaska, in the heart of the beautiful Kenai Peninsula.
• Originally established in January 1970 with the completion and dedication of the church building in 1977.
• Sunday Worship attendance is approximately 40 people.
• Current services:
  Sunday School & Worship Service;
  Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer.
• Our desire is that the glory of God, as revealed in Jesus Christ through the illumination of the Holy Spirit, be known, enjoyed, and displayed by all people.
• The position also comes with a parsonage that is approximately 2,700 square feet – 3 bedrooms, 2 baths.
• Kenai Grace is financially sound with no debt.
