North Slope Borough seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic Trainee to learn servicing, diagnosing and repairing light to heavy equipment across borough villages. This position becomes subject to federally mandated testing upon obtaining a CDL in the 1st year and requires passing a pre-employment test prior to any pay increase.
You will perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs, and maintain records; travel to borough villages may be required; requires a high school diploma or GED;
