Key Stage are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming and supportive schools across the Kendal area. We have exciting full-time opportunities available for September, making this the perfect role for experienced Teaching Assistants or those looking to begin a rewarding career in education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping pupils achieve their full potential in a positive learning environment.
The Role Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
Encouraging pupil engagement and participation.
Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), where required.
Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment.
Preparing classroom resources and assisting with general classroom organisation.
Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and essential life skills.
We're Looking For We would love to hear from you if you have:
Experience working with children or young people in a school, nursery or care setting.
A positive, patient and proactive approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A passion for supporting children's education and development.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
