Overview

NHB Recruitment is working on behalf of a growing eCommerce business selling globally across multiple channels including Amazon (UK/USA/Europe/Japan/Canada/Mexico), Shopify (UK & USA websites), eBay (UK & USA), Walmart (USA) and Mountain Warehouse (UK online).

We’re looking for a part-time, hands-on freelance Finance Manager to own bookkeeping, VAT (UK & Germany), multi-currency reporting (GBP/USD/EUR) and deliver quarterly management accounts with practical commercial insight.

You’ll work closely with the Directors, supporting month-to-month finance as well as strategic decision-making. Ideally you’ll be fairly local so you can meet once a quarter in person (rather than Teams).

Responsibilities

Own bookkeeping for the business
Manage VAT processes for UK & Germany
Perform multi-currency reporting (GBP/USD/EUR)
Deliver quarterly management accounts with practical commercial insight
Support month-to-month finance and assist strategic decision-making with Directors
Be available to meet in person roughly once per quarter

Qualifications / Key experience

eCommerce/platform reconciliation experience
UK & Germany VAT experience
Multi-currency accounting and reporting
Experience preparing management accounts
ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
Experience working in an eCommerce environment
Strong strategic finance experience
