Pipefitter/Welder
Location: Kendal (LA9)
Rate: £35ph (CIS Subcontractor)
Hours: 48 hours a week
Contract: 3 months’ worth (August 2026)
Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for a welder to join a market‑leading engineering contractor working on‑site at a pharmaceutical facility in Kendal (LA9). The role requires pipefitter/welders with strong industrial, petrochemical and pharmaceutical experience to fit stainless steel pipework and weld on‑site accordingly.
Responsibilities- Fit stainless steel pipework and weld on‑site.
- Valid CSCS Card (must be in‑date).
- 2–3 years’ experience as a pipefitter/welder in food & beverage, pharma or petrochemical settings.
- Proven knowledge of stainless steel welding and screwed pipework.
- Own gear, hand tools, PPE, overalls and tools.
- A CCNSG Card will not be accepted.
