Job Title: Head of Marketing
Location: Kendal, Cumbria
Salary: £47,000 - £52,500 per annum
Role: Permanent - Full time
An ambitious and growing business is looking to appoint a commercially focused Head of Marketing to take full ownership of its marketing strategy and performance. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll drive revenue, customer acquisition, and retention through data‑led, performance marketing. You will lead from the front—turning insight into action and delivering measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Own and deliver the marketing contribution to revenue, pipeline, and profitability
- Execute growth strategies aligned to wider business objectives
- Manage and optimise marketing budgets with a focus on ROI and performance
- Build a data‑driven marketing engine with testing, optimisation, and clear reporting
- Own key metrics including CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and attribution modelling
- Lead multi‑channel acquisition strategies: paid media, SEO, email, partnerships, and content
- Drive campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis across the full funnel
- Develop insight‑led, targeted campaigns based on customer and market data
- Partner with senior stakeholders and commercial teams to align on targets and delivery
- Lead and influence a marketing function, including external agencies and internal partners
- Own marketing technology, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and automation
- Proven experience in a senior marketing or Head of Marketing role with clear commercial impact
- Strong background in performance marketing and revenue growth
- Highly analytical, with a deep understanding of marketing metrics and attribution
- Hands‑on experience across digital channels and growth funnels
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders or within a matrix‑style organisation
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution
- Commercially driven and results‑focused
- Data‑led with a test‑and‑learn mindset
- Action‑oriented with a bias for delivery
- Highly accountable with strong ownership mentality
- Collaborative and able to influence across the business
