We’re Hiring Now For The Following Positions- Customer Assistants (£13.45 up to £14.45 per hour)
- Shift Managers (£15.45 up to £15.95 per hour)
As a Lidl Customer Assistant, no two shifts are the same. From restocking shelves to jumping on tills, you’ll keep moving, keep the store running, keep the shop tidy and organised, and ensure every customer receives the service they deserve. You may also specialise in Freshness, Non‑Food or Bakery.
Shift ManagerAs a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help maintain high standards day after day. You’ll motivate your team, manage shop floor operations, and lead in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager. You’ll be responsible for freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to keep the store running smoothly.
Responsibilities – Customer Assistant- Help customers with questions, queries and requests
- Work deliveries efficiently as they arrive in store
- Passionately provide excellent customer service
- Keep the bakery stocked and bake fresh goods proactively
- Merchandise and maintain middle aisles of Non‑Food products
- Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
- Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
- Create an environment where colleagues can succeed alongside you
- Manage operations within the store and with colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
- Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to ensure smooth shifts
- Deliver the best customer experience each time a customer visits the store
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to start a shift early or finish late
- Positive approach to changing priorities
- Drive and passion to work hard and make your store successful
- Friendly manner and a smile to inspire the team and help customers
- Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast‑paced environment
