We have an opportunity for a Volunteer Coordinator who shares our passion to work with us, engaging with our communities, families, stakeholders and partners to recruit and support a diverse, skilled and experienced volunteer workforce.

You will work within the wider Family Help and Family Hub teams to develop, promote and support volunteer opportunities to fit the needs of the Family Hubs. This role will specifically recruit, support and manage volunteers who support young people under our Independent Visitor contract which matches volunteer mentors and trusted friends to children and young people in care.

Do you have experience of working with a diverse range of communities and partners as well as the recruitment and support of volunteers? If so and you are keen to support the council to deliver excellent services and support to our families and children, we want to hear from you.

You will need an awareness and understanding of Family Help and Family Hubs and the ability to engage and support colleagues and partners as well as our communities, families and children.
