Mental Health Social Worker

A Mental Health Social Worker position is available in Kendal with HCL Workforce Solutions, paying up to £34 per hour on a temporary basis. This locum role involves 37 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with condensed hours into four days possible.

The work is hybrid, requiring three days in the office.

Details of the work to be carried out: care act assessments, support planning, reviews, S117, hospital discharge, tribunal work, duty cover.

Will be in the mental health team and TM is looking for an EPW SW to do care act assessments / support planning / reviews / hospital discharges etc.

Caseload:
Varying complexity, max 18-20. Geographical area required to cover
- South Lakes and Eden.

Education:

Degree in Social Work

Licenses: (If required) In line with the Department for Education''s updated agency rules, all candidates must meet the following criteria:
Minimum of three years post-qualifying experience (PQE) in direct employment with an English local authority. Must not have left a permanent social work role within the past six months from a children''s services department or a local authority in the South West region. Must be available to work from the office in Torbay each week.
