Location:

Kendal and Barrow-in-Furness

Contract Type:
Permanent

Come and join an Ofsted‑rated ‘Good’ Children and Families Service, where staff wellbeing is a clear priority. We are proud to be finalists in the Supportive Social Work Employer category at the National Social Worker of the Year Awards 2025.

Our teams are area based, meaning you work within local communities so will be able to build links with families and partner agencies. It is really important to us that Westmorland and Furness is a great place to be a child and grow up; a place of opportunity where young people are able to live happy and productive lives and a place where young people will want to live and work in the future.

We're looking for qualified Social Workers who are child-centred, reflective in their practice and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people. We firmly believe that all children in Westmorland and Furness deserve the best start in life, and we're looking for the right people to help make that happen.

If you're looking for a role where your work really matters, where you'll be supported to grow and where you can make a genuine difference every day, we'd love you to join us!
