We’re looking for a Warehouse & Yard Shunter to play a vital role in keeping our production and dispatch operations running without interruption. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and take pride in safe, precise vehicle operation, this could be the role for you.

You’ll be at the centre of our site operations, ensuring trailers, containers, and vehicles are moved safely and efficiently to support production and customer deliveries.

• Safely moving trailers between loading bays, parking areas, and site locations
• Positioning vehicles accurately to enable efficient loading and unloading
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all equipment is safe and compliant
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers correctly and securely
• Working closely with FLT operators, warehouse teams, and drivers
• Supporting dispatch schedules by ensuring the right trailers are in the right place at the right time
• Monitoring trailer condition and reporting defects
• Maintaining high standards of yard housekeeping and safety
• Completing all required documentation and system updates accurately

You’ll play a key role in keeping everything flowing – minimising delays and ensuring our customers receive their products on time.

We’re looking for someone who combines technical skill with a strong safety mindset:

• Full UK Driving Licence and HGV Class 1 Licence
• Experience in a warehouse, yard, logistics or manufacturing environment
• Confidence operating vehicles in tight spaces with excellent spatial awareness
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow processes
• Previous shunting experience

Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who:

• Takes pride in doing things safely and correctly
• Works well as part of a team
• Proactively identifies and reports risks or issues
