Outside Sales Representative

Overview

Empire Today is looking for go-getters to meet face-to-face with our customers in their homes and help find the best flooring products for their needs. The role is located in Kendall, FL. This position focuses on building relationships, presenting Empire Today’s offerings, and converting pre-qualified leads into sales.

• Represent a quality brand in the industry and serve customers for over 60 years
• Meet with customers in their homes to assess flooring needs and provide in-home estimates
• Generate and follow up on leads, leveraging Empire Today’s brand strength
• Meet performance targets through in-home consultations and product recommendations
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions (in-person and virtual)
• Deliver excellent customer service and professional presentation, including Empire-branded apparel

• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle with room for roughly 50 sample boards; ability to drive with sample boards
• Valid auto insurance
• Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs
• Comfort with using a tablet device and laser measuring device for diagrams and contracts
• Availability for evening and weekend appointments
• Business development: achieve a monthly minimum of self-generated sales
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions (in person or virtual)
• Present professionally, including Empire-branded apparel
