We are proud of our warm and nurturing ethos, our beautiful learning environment and our commitment to ensuring that every child feels happy, successful and ready for life.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic and highly supportive team. Opportunities to join the Priors Field staff team are rare, and we are looking for someone who shares our belief that strong relationships, high expectations and genuine care help children achieve their very best.

Working alongside class teachers and our inclusion team, you will support children across the classroom, in small groups and through targeted one-to-one support. A key aspect of the role will involve supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and experience success.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with primary-aged children, including children with SEND
  • Is patient, nurturing and committed to helping every child thrive
  • Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Understands the importance of inclusion and adaptive practice
  • Is flexible, resilient and able to work as part of a team
  • Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare

In return, we offer:

  • Wonderful children who are enthusiastic, kind and eager to learn
  • A welcoming and exceptionally supportive staff team
  • A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and professional development
  • A school community built on positive relationships and shared values
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference to children's lives every day

At Priors Field, inclusion sits at the heart of everything we do. From our nurturing spaces, including The Nest, Secret Garden and Zen Den, to our highly personalised approach to supporting children, we are committed to ensuring that every child feels a sense of belonging and is able to achieve their full potential.

Priors Field is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and all safer recruitment checks.
