Palliative Care Physician, Internal Medicine Physician
New England Cancer Specialists seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Palliative Care Physician to join our growing Palliative Care Team within our private Oncology/Hematology practice in southern Maine and New Hampshire. The successful candidate will be trained in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in Palliative Medicine/Hospice; experience in Oncology and Hematology patient care is preferred.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient and inpatient palliative care in NECS clinics in Portsmouth, NH and Kennebunk, ME, with as-needed coverage in Scarborough/Westbrook, ME.
- Collaborate in co-managing palliative cancer treatments with patients' primary Oncologists/Hematologists.
- Participate in inpatient care for NECS patients admitted to area hospitals.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Care.
- Trained in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in Palliative Medicine/Hospice.
- Experience in Oncology and Hematology patient care preferred.

Location and Practice DetailsThe position is based in the southern Maine and New Hampshire region, with outpatient duties in Portsmouth, NH and Kennebunk, ME and coverage in Scarborough/Westbrook, ME as needed.
