The Program for Children with Medical Complexity is designed to help meet the unique needs of thesechildren, offering a variety of services and support.
Our team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Patient Service Representative or Patient Service Specialist to join our small,fiercely dedicatedgroupfor the position of Patient Service Specialist. The Patient Service Specialist role ensures patient scheduling and referral needs are met while assisting in the general administrative and patient service needs of the practice.
Daily tasks may include answering and appropriately routing phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, patient check in/check out, insurance verification and authorization, reminder calls, processing incoming and outgoing referrals, and any other tasks assigned by clinical team or manager.
The Patient Service Specialist must encompass strong organizational abilities, effective communication, time management, proficiency in EPIC, computer software and applications. Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities both independently and in a group, and adaptability are essential for managing daily tasks efficiently.

- This is a full time, 40 hour per week position.
