Federal Jack's is looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our growing and dynamic team.

ESSENTIAL PROFESSIONAL FUNCTIONS:- Assist the kitchen manager in food preparation, quality maintenance, and sanitation
- Ensure consistent adherence to recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards
- Train new kitchen staff in cooking methods, preparation, presentation, portion control, cost management, and sanitation
- Cultivate a positive, professional, and safe work environment
- Provide operational support to maintain guest service standards
- Complete required paperwork in an organized and timely manner
- Oversee equipment maintenance and cleanliness
- Collaborate with management to plan and price menu items, establish portion sizes, and maintain food cost standards
- Assist in writing and costing weekly specials
- Organize inventory and manage orders
- Schedule labor to meet business needs
- Enforce kitchen equipment safety and sanitation practices
- Maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control
- Foster positive relationships with purveyors
- Assist in monthly inventory completion
- Perform other assigned duties
- Guest satisfaction with food flavor and presentation
- Timely delivery of meals to guests
- Retention and growth of Kitchen Staff
- Kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Compliance with health department standards
