Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions)

Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr.

Total first‑year compensation typically ranges from $55k to $75k, with potential for top performers to earn over $100k. This role includes uncapped commissions.

We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our South Portland office and surrounding locations. Success in this role will require a strong local network and in‑person relationship building in the community. This is not a remote position.

• Typical training salary: $55k–$65k per year
• Combination of base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions: total first‑year compensation $55k‑$75k
• Potential for top performers to earn over $100k in the first year

• Previous employment in a sales role turning prospects into customers
• State insurance license or willingness to earn one in Property & Casualty, and Life

• Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Well‑developed persuasion and negotiation skills
• Great interpersonal skills and proven ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines
• Familiarity with finding, building, and growing leads and customer base
