Housekeeping Supervisor; Availability - and weekends

Housekeeping Supervisor (Availability 7am - 5pm and weekends)

Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose

• Distribute/delegate room and cleaning assignments to Housekeeping team members.
• Supervise and monitor work performance of team members by conducting room and public area inspections, completing reports, verifying status, and reporting clean suites to the front desk or load into automated property‑management systems.
• Monitor Lost & Found.
• Monitor payroll reports and work schedules.
• Plan and conduct staff meetings to ensure open communication among team members; attend operational meetings for pertinent information dissemination.
• Ensure stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Maintain regular attendance in conformance with Hilton standards; may be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

Supportive Functions

• Assist room attendants and house persons in securing supplies and tools necessary for daily tasks.
• Support the housekeeping department's performance‑management process.
• Monitor proper use and compliance with hazardous chemicals and the Haz‑com program.
• Promote team‑member loyalty and empowerment.
• Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations regarding repair and maintenance of guestrooms and public areas.
• Conduct quarterly linen inventory.
• Other duties as requested.
