Garnet Hotels LLC is currently hiring dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join the Housekeeping Department at Wyndham New Orleans Airport & Conference Center in Kenner, Louisiana.

We are hiring for three positions under one job posting:

• Housekeeper / Room Attendant
• Houseperson / Houseman
• Laundry Attendant

We are looking for motivated team members who take pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to Wyndham brand standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, furniture, fixtures, and guest room surfaces.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and remove trash from assigned rooms.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and missing items.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, and lost-and-found items.
• Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness of hotel hallways, elevators, stairways, lobby areas, and other public spaces.
• Assist room attendants by delivering clean linens, towels, and guest supplies.
• Remove trash, soiled linens, and other materials from housekeeping areas.
• Stock and organize housekeeping closets and supply carts.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies when required.
• Respond promptly to guest and housekeeping requests.
• Support cleaning and setup needs for meeting and conference areas.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, and excessive wear.
• Maintain proper linen inventory and report shortages or damaged items.
• Distribute clean linens to housekeeping staff as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.
• Follow proper chemical handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Support housekeeping operations during busy periods.

• Previous hotel housekeeping, laundry, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
• Ability to perform physical duties such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing carts, and handling linens and supplies, with or without reasonable accommodation.
