Overview
The merchandising & stocking associate role supports members by ensuring products are easy to find, properly stocked, and presented in a clean, organized store environment. The role may involve moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, and assisting members while stocking shelves. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role that can resemble a gym workout depending on the shift.
Responsibilities- Unloading trucks promptly and assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store
- Sorting, stocking, and organizing products on shelves and in the backroom
- Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Ensuring club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policies
- Providing member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services
- Maintaining safety and following company policies, including forklift spotting, hazardous materials handling, and safety reporting
- Maintaining sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning, stocking, and pricing according to policies
- Ensuring product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, sanitation, and prominent display of promotional merchandise
- Supporting with priorities and deadlines, collaborating with managers and co-workers, and addressing improvement opportunities
- Supporting the processing of club pick up orders and staging per policy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay adaptable to change

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to complete tasks with excellence
- Ability to lift and move boxes and objects weighing more than 25 pounds

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00, subject to applicable minimum wage requirements. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
