Materials Manager

Vaco Atlanta is hiring a Materials Manager to lead purchasing, inventory planning, supplier management, and material flow operations for a growing manufacturing organization. This role manages a team of buyers and plays a critical role in driving ERP/MRP effectiveness, inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and process improvement initiatives.

Compensation: $120,000 - $125,000 annually + bonus

• Lead purchasing and inventory planning across thousands of SKUs.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, and delivery reliability.
• Drive ERP/MRP accuracy, master data integrity, and inventory optimization.
• Develop KPIs, reporting, and analytics to improve operational performance.
• Lead and develop a team of buyers while fostering a data-driven culture.

• 7+ years of materials, purchasing, procurement, inventory planning, or supply chain experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience required.
• Experience leading buyers, planners, or procurement professionals.
• Strong ERP/MRP expertise (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar).
• Analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
