Senior Estimator

We are currently seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team. Lead estimates for complex sitework pursuits and help shape Plateau’s preconstruction approach. Bring field-informed judgment to pricing, risk evaluation, and the transition from a successful bid to a well-planned project.

• Lead estimates from initial review through final pricing and proposal submission.
• Develop bid strategies, construction approaches, and cost assumptions with operations.
• Review takeoffs, production rates, quotations, and estimate completeness.
• Evaluate contractual and execution risks and document qualifications and exclusions.
• Coordinate estimate reviews and communicate pricing recommendations to leadership.
• Mentor estimators, maintain cost knowledge, and lead thorough project handoffs.

• Extensive sitework or heavy civil estimating experience, including complex or large project pursuits.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, utilities, self-perform production, and equipment costs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead bid teams and make clear, defensible pricing recommendations.
• Advanced estimating and takeoff skills; construction-related degree preferred or equivalent experience.
