Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Public Administration in the School of Government and International Affairs with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position to be performed in the state of Georgia.

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Public Administration.
• Teach courses of variable size and modalities, including large class sizes.
• Provide service to department, college, university, and profession.
• Maintain a sustained research and publication agenda on one or more subfields of Public Administration (e.g., budgeting, local government administration, policy studies).

• Doctorate degree (or foreign equivalent) in Public Administration or related discipline, at the time of hire.
• Experience teaching in-person, online, or hybrid courses.
• Evidence of scholarship or potential of scholarly activities in subfields of Public Administration.

• Record of past teaching at undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• Likelihood of obtaining extramural funding.
• Ability to teach one or more of the following areas: budgeting, research methods, governmental relations, capstone, nonprofit administration, or state and local governance and administration.

• Evidence of successful teaching
