Location details: Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in Environmental Science in the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology for the academic year . These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

• Teaching undergraduate courses in Environmental Science such as Science, Society, & the Environment I (SCI 1101) and II (SCI 1102), and other courses as needed.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Environmental Science, Biology, or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

OR

A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.

• A record of using evidence-based teaching practices at the university level
• A record of teaching non-STEM majors
• A record of teaching environmental-science-related courses
• A flexible schedule that can support teaching evenings
