Substitute Teacher

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (PART TIME) – Kennesaw, GA (FY )

Northwest Classical Academy seeks qualified substitute teachers to provide face‑to‑face instruction during the absence of the lead teacher. The role reports to the school’s Principal on our Kennesaw campus, operates on‑call, and ensures continuity of learning.

• Work on an on‑call basis as needed.
• Provide face‑to‑face instruction following lesson plans supplied by the absent teacher.
• Create a classroom environment that is safe, orderly, and conducive to learning, consistent with the mission and virtues of the school.
• Maintain established school and classroom procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Experience working with children.
• Availability to work on‑call or as needed.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to the values of a classical, liberal arts education and ability to hold students accountable to high standards of conduct.
• Ability to adhere to the school’s dress code as outlined in the employee handbook.
