Part‑time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Music

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open‑rank, part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Dr. Bobbie Bailey School of Music for the academic year 2025‑2026. These positions are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis. Rank will be determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. Positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

• Teaching undergraduate courses in music.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

• A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Music or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
• OR a minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non‑related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
