Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Anthropology in the Department of Geography and Anthropology with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. Teach a variety of undergraduate courses, including Cultural Anthropology and Research Methods.
KSU uses a differentiated workload model. The baseline teaching load is 3/3.
- Develop and teach upper and lower division electives in their area(s) of expertise.
- Develop and maintain an active research program including the pursuit of external funding.
- Contribute to department, college, and/or university service activities.
- Teach courses of various sizes, including large class sizes, in various modalities on the Kennesaw and/or Marietta campuses.
