Process Engineer IIIIndustry: Medical Device Manufacturing
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 + 7% Bonus + Full Benefits
We’re seeking a hands‑on Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations, drive process improvements, and ensure seamless product launches. This role is critical in optimizing efficiency, improving product quality, and maintaining compliance across all production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide engineering support to manufacturing to ensure adherence to SOPs and operational continuity.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce cycle time, and enhance yield.
- Manage and implement engineering changes for materials, tooling, and equipment.
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for commercial products and manufacturing processes.
- Support new product introductions through process validation, equipment qualification (IQ/OQ), and cross-functional collaboration.
- Conduct technical studies, statistical analyses, and author validation reports.
- Identify and qualify alternative materials and suppliers to ensure business continuity.
- Design, test, and implement new manufacturing methods and equipment with clear ROI justifications.
- Maintain Device Master Records, drawings, and test methods in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, or related engineering field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in medical device, tissue, or related manufacturing (2–4 with a Master’s).
- Proficient with CAD and Minitab; experience with Lean/5S and Six Sigma preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.
- Reduced production errors and improved yield and efficiency.
- Seamless integration of new products and equipment.
- Maintained compliance and audit readiness.
- Delivered practical, data-driven process improvements that impact performance and quality.
