NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant for their corporate headquarters in Kennesaw, GA office. The right candidate will have 10+ years of consulting experience on due diligence projects. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Duties:

  • Senior Reviewer for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Phase II Remediation Activities
  • Indoor Air Quality Consulting activities (mold, asbestos, lead-based paint)
  • Underground storage tank removals
  • Cross-train with Geotechnical Engineering and Building Envelope/Facilities service lines
  • Mentor junior staff and review reports

Requirements:

  • Degree:
    Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science
  • 8+ years’ experience with due diligence projects (Phase I, II)
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) is required
  • Experienced with Phase I and II ESAs, Soil/groundwater sampling, PFAs, Brownfield work, Soil vapor, Risk Hazard Assessment, Vapor Barrier design experience
  • Good communications and reporting skills
  • Experience with review of due diligence reports.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirement
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Valid State Driver’s license with clean driving record
