Engineering Manager – Advanced Nuclear Division
Our Nuclear Services Group is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Advanced Nuclear Division. In this role you will guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding results, strengthen client relationships, and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. It is an opportunity to influence strategy, grow future leaders, and drive meaningful impact across the organization.

- Project Delivery, Scope, Schedule & Budget
:
Ensure Engineering Unit staff maintain schedules, budgets, and quality of deliverables. Work with Project Managers and Engineers to define scope and assign work. Accountable for ensuring project budgets and schedules are met and for approval of engineering documents. - Quality Management & Continuous Improvement
:
Establish and enforce quality standards, maintain and execute Continuous Improvement Plans, and drive improvement using lessons learned and corrective action programs. - Business Development & Client Relations
:
Support marketing efforts, lead proposal preparation, develop and maintain client relationships, and assist with business planning, market assessment, contract negotiation, and product development. - Talent Management, Training & Professional Development
:
Recruit, hire, develop and retain staff; promote training opportunities; provide performance feedback; support professional development and enforce company policies. - Technical Leadership
:
Provide resolution to technical issues through own expertise or coordination with subject‑matter experts. - Performance & Business Goals
:
Meet individual time goals and ensure staff meet their applicable goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 10+ years of engineering experience in the Power Industry.
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain an active PE license.
- Preferred experience with Advanced Nuclear and Small Modular Reactor technologies.
- Experience with new design of power plant systems.
- Experience managing complex BIM/3D models of major plant systems.
- Experience with Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) or similar large‑scale delivery methods.
- Knowledge of applicable government codes and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision‑making, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal communication and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Strong technical writing, attention to detail, and facilitation skills.
- Strong coordination, team‑building, and cross‑discipline collaboration.
- Ability to motivate teams and achieve goals through positive leadership.
- Problem‑solving and scientific evaluation skills.
- Travel up to 25% of the time to client sites and between ENERCON regional offices.
